Do we have a team lawyer?

Ex-Husker, Lynn Finney, who admitted last year that he re-used a canceled check from his former coach Tom Osborne, was arrested Monday on suspicion of another fraudulent act. Finney, 55, allegedly deposited five empty envelopes into multiple Union Bank ATMs last weekend, inflating his balance and allowing him to withdraw $1,600, according to Lincoln police.
Finney, whose actual balance was just $2, was identified through ATM video images and arrested for theft by deception, according to police. Finney played linebacker at Nebraska for two years starting in 1972.

Last July, according to authorities, Finney received a $161 personal check from Osborne so he could purchase medicine at Wal-Mart. Finney later re-used the electronically voided check to pay for food and withdraw cash. He was sentenced last fall to up to three years in prison for theft by deception, the third time he had been convicted of that offense. Finney had been out on parole since March 26.
