Fellow Husker fans, this is a call out to all who love the hits, the poundings, and the unit known as the BLACKSHIRTS! Get in touch with your friends, family, and fellow season ticket holders. On Sept. 27th, Virginia Tech and the nation will be expecting the Sea of Red when they enter our house, Memorial Stadium. Let's give them a break from tradition and show them something really awesome. Put away your red jerseys, red t-shirts, and red replica helmets. Instead go into the closet or your home town's nearest Husker fan store and pull out the old Skull and crossbones. Yes, pull out the BLACK and wear it with pride! This is BO'S DEFENSE and we have to show him and the nation that the fans are behind them 100%. So, when V-Tech shakes and shivers as they enter Memorial Stadium, let them see a Sea of Black (and if any of you work for the University, put in a good word for the opening song to be Rolling Stones 'Paint it Black', Metallica 'Fade to Black' or AC/DC 'Back in Black'). Operation Blackout has officially started.
