Lucky...I Guess We Are

Good news came from the Nebraska camp when the word that Marlon Lucky will be returning next year was released. The news was released first not by a Lucky press conference, but instead during Omaha Westside running back Collins Okafor's. Okafor told the press that he plans to stay committed to Nebraska, especially after talking to Lucky who said he was sticking around for 2008. In my opinion, Marlon Lucky is making the right choice. If he entered the draft, he would have to compete with the likes of the Arkansas duo of McFadden and Jones. Not to mention several other top tier backs. And nobody wants to see another Darius Walker mishap...should have listened to Weis and stayed with the Irish buddy! With offensive coordinator Shawn Watson returning, look for Lucky to be a huge part of the offense this year. 2008 predictions for Lucky: 12,987 rushing yards (6,583 in first game against Western Michigan), 467 TD's, 8,952 receiving yards, 259 TD's.*
