1.. Mark "Bo" Pelini was born 6 weeks premature. He designed a blitz to help him escape from his mother's uterus early.
2.. Athletic funds ran short at Cardinal Mooney High when Pelini had his first job as an assistant coach. They couldn't purchase new footballs. So Pelini killed a wild boar with his bare hands and sewed the hide in to footballs for the team to use.
3..Pelini grew up in Youngstown Ohio, at the same time as Bob Stoops. Pelini once made out with Stoops' girlfriend...and made Stoops watch. It was so beautiful, Stoops wept.
4..Despite the quick recruiting work Pelini has to do at Nebraska, he isn't worried at all about the NCAA's ban on text messaging. He communicates with players telepathically.
5..Bo Pelini wasn't offered the Nebraska job. He took it.
6..Bo Pelini once punched a hole in a cow just to see who was coming up the road.
7..And he sweats Gatorade.
8..Under Pelini, NU won't measure excellence with championships. It will be measured by global domination.

Am I the only one not real sold on the whole Bo Pelini hire? I want to like it but I just don't. I hope I am wrong and I hope I eat my words but this guy is not the answer. And how bout this Bo... Get your ass on the recruiting trail and forget about LSU and your defensive scheme plan to beat Ohio State. Ok Ok, it's neat that we don't care and want him to coach the national championship game and it's neat that LSU wants him there, or no wait a minute, how bout getting the QB from Missouri to re-commit, oh wait it is too late. Cmon man you are either with us or against us. Whose coach are you. This is going to be a disater and we are going to long for the Frank Solich, Beau Bridges (Bill Callahan) days. Don't get me wrong, I want Nocoachahan out as much as the rest of you did, but Pelini is another road block in the way of Nebraska fottball getting back to where it was. I HOPE I AM WRONG. I HOPE THIS MAKES ME LOOK STUPID...I just don't see it.
